Assalamalaykom warahmatullaah everybody
Sooo, yeah i have been away for a while now but im back now! although not so in a good mood…
Today at uni i received a call from Fahim and he heard his BEST friends voice (Shajee - if ur reading this i just want you to know i think you are a jerk) and he got so excited and was like “OMG thats my buddy! thats shajee’s voice! give him the phone!” i was shocked he could hear him and figure out at once who it is…so anyway, i walk upto him and im like “salamalykom, shajjee?” he figured out who i was and i thought he was going to pass out “Someone wants to speak to you” i said. And hes like…”uh..uh…i gotta go!” and some crap that doesnt matter. I was soo hurt, for fahim. I told him he asked me to wait right here and he will be back. Afcourse Fahim had heard him and he was very dissapointed…I am really really upset about it.
Alhamdulilaah alaa kulli haal.
Anyway i hope everybody is doing fine, thanks for emailing me and leaving msgs…yes im alive =)

Welcome back my dear.
That’s quite sad but you know it is better that one finds out who the real friends are. It’s hard to find out though during a hardship because that’s when you need them the most. Khairan though. He has you and he has those around him that constantly remind him, make du`aa’ for him etc… and those are the ones that matter. Just be strong for him.

Don’t worry about the brother. Try to give him the benefit of the doubt (and I know that’s hard to do so, but try at least) and breathe in a couple of times and remind yourself that Allaah is the only One we truly have Who will never disappoint us. It’s human tendancy to be frightened and perhaps his parents told him not to have contact with people anymore for fear of safety. Honestly, when something happened to my friend, I was afraid to call her (even though I did call her without hesitating, my heart was just racing). I can’t imagine how Fahim felt. But like Umm Layth said, in times of hardship is when you realize who your true friends are. So don’t sweat it, don’t be mad at the brother, just forget him. I hope I wasn’t insensitive lol, but I’m just giving you advice from my experience.
